Before there was a restaurant, there was a stall. Muna spent years cooking Ethiopian street food at markets around Edinburgh, injera flipped in a pan, stews ladled out to a queue that kept coming back.
In autumn 2024 she opened her own room in Bruntsfield, and it was packed within a week and a half. Now she's the matriarch of Gillespie Place, moving table to table while the coffee ceremony runs and the mesob lids come off.
